Charlie Kirk Assasination

A TikToker mocks morality by singing, *“God’s time is always right”*—not in reverence, but in grotesque celebration of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. How chilling. How perverse. How unspeakably evil. Yet what follows is just as troubling: conservative voices rush to condemn their ideological enemies—the Left, the Woke, the atheists, the unbelievers—missing the deeper truth. In their outrage, they unknowingly play into the hands of the true adversary: *Satan himself.* Scripture warns us plainly: > “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” > (Ephesians 6:12) Until we grasp this spiritual reality, we will remain blind to the deeper battle. Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s sobering words pierce through the illusion: > “If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere insidiously committing evil deeds, and it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?” > (The Gulag Archipelago) The uncomfortable truth is this: the battleground is not only out there—it is within. Evil is not confined to “them.” It wrestles in every human heart, including yours and mine. And Christ’s radical call shatters our instinct for retaliation: > “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.” > (Matthew 5:44) Until we live this out, our words, no matter how righteous they sound, will only echo the same hatred we claim to oppose.
