RAISING THE COLOURS: BRITAIN’S CALL BACK TO GODLY LEADERSHIP
God once intended Britain to be a keeper and
custodian among the nations. Our calling was not only to extend influence but
to care for those entrusted to us. Yet as a nation we lost sight of that
mission. We allowed voices—humanistic, atheistic, and globalist—to persuade us
that our heritage and responsibility were shameful. In abandoning our faith, we
forfeited our authority.
Even Britain’s geography speaks of destiny:
an island set apart, hovering over Europe like a watchful angel. Yet instead of
standing in that God-given independence, our leaders now bend the knee to
international institutions and projects that echo the tower of Babel—efforts to
erase nations, languages, and God’s order in pursuit of man’s pride.
What has been the result? The erosion of our
culture, traditions, and sovereignty. The great Christian power that once
defined Britain has withered in proportion to our rejection of faith. From the
teaching of Darwin’s godless evolution to the spread of militant secularism and
anti-Christian ideologies, our spiritual retreat has mirrored our political and
economic decline.
But God has always worked through a faithful
minority. Throughout history, the righteous remnant has held back judgment
and preserved nations. Today, grassroots movements like Raising the Colours
are a sign that the Lord is stirring hearts again. Ordinary men and women
across the UK are lifting high the banner of Christ, declaring that this land
belongs to Him, not to secular ideologies or global powers.
The lesson of history is clear: whenever
Britain trusted in the Lord and ruled by His Word, she prospered. Whenever she
drifted from Him, she faltered. If we are to reclaim our destiny, we must
recover our faith. The future of Britain will not be decided in parliaments or
by treaties but in whether her people return to God.
The call of this hour is simple but urgent:
Lift the standard.
Raise the colours of Christ.
Stand as a righteous minority against the tide.
Only then will Britain rediscover her true
purpose and authority under God.
